Washington Nationals RP Henry Rodriguez (elbow) is continuing to receive treatment for his right elbow, according to manager Davey Johnson. He pitched a scoreless inning against the Atlanta Braves Saturday, April 13, issuing two walks while striking out one.

Washington Nationals manager Davey Johnson said RP Henry Rodriguez (elbow) has been dealing with soreness in his right elbow. He was originally scheduled to pitch Sunday, March 24, but instead will rest and see how he feels Monday, March 25. If all goes well, he could throw a bullpen session Tuesday, March 26. Johnson doesn't believe the problem is serious.

Washington Nationals RP Henry Rodriguez (shoulder) needed only eight pitches to record three outs in his exhibition debut Friday, March 8, against the St. Louis Cardinals. He threw six fastballs and two sliders and said he felt fine after the game. Rodriguez's fastball topped out at 97 mph but he later admitted that he wasn't throwing at 100 percent force or arm strength, after finding out during his bullpen sessions that he could still be effective without overexerting himself.
