Updating a previous item, MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan reports Major League Baseball was not comfortable with P Warner Madrigal being designated for assignment while hurt. The Dallas Morning News originally had Madrigal (forearm) being designated to make room for C Matt Treanor, but Madrigal was on the 15-day disabled list at the time. He was transferred to the 60-day DL.

T.R. Sullivan, of MLB.com, reports the Texas Rangers placed RP Warner Madrigal (forearm) on the 60-day disabled list Thursday, April 8. He will not be eligible to come off the DL until June.
