Free-agent OF Kosuke Fukudome (Yankees) is reportedly returning to play for the Hanshin Tigers of the Japanese League. Fukudome's deal is for three years, but no financial terms were given.

Chicago White Sox OF Kosuke Fukudome (oblique) is working his way back after suffering a strained oblique June 3. He is concentrating on getting healthy, and not worrying about his limited playing time. "It is what it is," Fukudome said. "It's something I have to deal with." Fukudome started swinging a bat Tuesday, June 12, and he said he is feeling a lot better.

The Chicago White Sox recalled OF Jordan Danks from Triple-A Charlotte Thursday, June 7, and placed OF Kosuke Fukudome (oblique) on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right oblique. Danks was hitting .302 with eight home runs, 28 RBIs and a .412 on-base percentage at Charlotte.
