The staff also includes third base coach John Russell, pitching coach Mark Conner, bullpen coach Rick Adair, first base coach Wayne Kirby and hitting coach Jim Presley.

Fantasy Tip: The Pirates are headed in the right direction, at least on the surface. Hopefully they hire someone who can get the most from their new generation of talent, the members of which all debuted in the past two seasons.

Several unnamed sources within the Pittsburgh Pirates organization report that the team is expected to relieve manager John Russell of his duties but keep general manager Neal Huntington for the 2011 season, according to Dejan Kovacevic of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
