Five Pittsburgh Pirates minor leaguers have joined the team for the weekend but will not be added to the active roster. Triple-A Indianapolis P Justin X. Wilson, 1B Matt Hague and OF Gorkys Hernandez, along with Double-A Altoona Ps Kyle McPherson and Bryan Morris, are with the team.

Pittsburgh Pirates OF Gorkys Hernandez (finger) will miss six to eight weeks after dislocating his right ring finger Sunday, July 25, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review's Rob Biertempfel. Hernandez will need to undergo surgery. He had been playing for Double-A Altoona.

Pittsburgh Pirates OF Gorkys Hernandez (finger) will miss three to four months due to a fractured right ring finger, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Dejan Kovacevic reports. He was hitting .325 in July at Double-A Altoona and hitting .266 with two homers, 26 RBIs and 17 steals overall.

Pittsburgh Pirates minor league OF Gorkys Hernandez, currently playing with Double-A Altoona, has a 16-game hitting streak, according to Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Over his last 11 games, he is 20-for-50 (.400).
