The Kansas City Royals have optioned Ps Kevin Pucetas and Everett Teaford to Triple-A Omaha, according to MLB.com's Dick Kaegel. Ps Chris Dwyer, John Lamb, Steven Shell and Will Smith have been reassigned to minor league camp.

The Kansas City Royals have signed Ps Henry Barrera, Kevin Pucetas, Everett Teaford and Kanekoa Texeira and C Lucas May to one-year contracts, according to The Associated Press.

The Kansas City Royals acquired SP Kevin Pucetas from the San Francisco Giants Friday, Oct. 15, to complete the trade that sent OF Jose Guillen to the Giants, according to The Kansas City Star. Pucetas went 15-13 with a 5.34 ERA in 54 starts with Triple-A Fresno this year.

San Francisco Giants RP Matt Kinney is spot-starting at Triple-A Fresno in place of SP Kevin Pucetas (ankle), who was placed on the minor league disabled list because of an ankle injury, according to Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News.

USAToday.com reports the San Francisco Giants optioned SP Kevin Pucetas, RP Alex Hinshaw, P Henry Sosa and IFs Matt Downs and Ryan Rohlinger to Triple-A Fresno. The team also reassigned P Felix Romero, IF Brandon Crawford and C Steve Holm to minor league camp.
