The team would recall 3B Will Middlebrooks from Triple-A Pawtucket if that's the case. SS Jose Iglesias, who was recalled Tuesday, was just a short-term fix; if Youkilis lands on the DL, Middlebrooks will play third regularly and SS Mike Aviles will remain at shortstop.
