S Donte' Nicholson was waived injured.

NFL | Marijuana charge dropped against J. Cook

The Associated Press reports a prosecutor has dropped a marijuana possession charge against free-agent FB Jameel Cook (Texans). The charge was dropped because there was insufficient evidence to show Cook knew there was marijuana in his car when he was pulled over in August. Cook still faces misdemeanor counts of driving with an invalid license, failure to maintain insurance, no front license plate, expired registration and expired inspection sticker.

Kevin Moran, of the Houston Chronicle, reports Houston Texans FB Jameel Cook was arrested Wednesday, Aug. 20, and charged with a misdemeanor after the police found a plastic bag containing two grams of marijuana, according the Fort Bend County sheriff's spokeswoman Terriann Carlson. He was released on a $500 personal recognizance bond.
