Updating a previous report, Texas Rangers SP Alexi Ogando (shoulder) is likely to be scratched from his next start Monday, Aug. 19, and he'll probably receive an injection this weekend while waiting for a second opinion on his MRI exam. SP Ross Wolf is a candidate to take the start out of the bullpen, and SP Josh Lindblom is another option in the minors.
Fantasy Tip: Wolf is the better option because he's already on the roster, but don't rule out Lindblom. Both options are only candidates to own in AL-only leagues if they enter the rotation.

Texas Rangers 1B Lance Berkman (hip, knees) won't play for Double-A Frisco as planned Thursday, Aug. 15. He went 0-for-1 with two walks in his fourth rehab game Wednesday, Aug. 14, and he is 4-for-11 in four games. Berkman could be added to the roster if the team puts SP Alexi Ogando (shoulder) on the disabled list. SP Ross Wolf would likely move into the rotation.

Wed, 10 Jul 2013 16:24:37 -0700
The Texas Rangers don't know who'll start Thursday, July 11, in place of SP Yu Darvish (back). It'll be Ross Wolf or Neil Ramirez.
Fantasy Tip: A modestly touted prospect in recent years, Ramirez had struggled with the mental aspect of the game in recent years and is in the middle of somewhat of a revival. He'd be a better choice than Wolf, but the matchup with the Baltimore Orioles doesn't exactly scream "pick him up!" Ramirez would be worth watching should Darvish's injury linger, though.
