"I don't like to see anybody get fired … but you knew they wanted to do that," Babin said. "I could tell there were some feelings between Coach (Andy) Reid and 'Wash' that were on the surface and you could feel the tension a little bit. Washburn would either ignore Castillo entirely or confront him in a condescending manner, and Washburn would also call Castillo "Juanita" in front of players, according to a veteran defensive player. He was condescending and confrontational and embarrassed Castillo frequently in meetings and at practice and also went over the line criticizing his players at times.
