Arizona Diamondbacks SP Barry Enright allowed two runs in six innings in a start for Triple-A Reno Tuesday, May 1. Enright has won back-to-back starts for the first time this season, and he is 3-1 with a 1.99 ERA in 31 2/3 innings over six starts, with one complete game.

The Arizona Diamondbacks optioned SP Trevor Bauer to Double-A Mobile and optioned Ps Sam Demel and Barry Enright and OF David Winfree to Triple-A Reno. Ps Chris Jakubauskas and Charles Brewer and INFs Rusty Ryal and Matt Davidson were also re-assigned.

Diamondbacks | Contracts for 40-man roster finalized

The Arizona Diamondbacks have agreed to terms with Ps Sam Demel, Barry Enright, Dan Hudson, Zach Kroenke, Brett Lorin, Wade Miley, Yonata Ortega, Joe Paterson, Bryan Shaw and Michael Zagurski, Cs Konrad Schmidt and Craig Tatum, OFs Cole Gillespie and David Winfree and 1B Paul Goldschmidt on one-year deals. They also renewed the contracts of SPs Josh Collmenter and Ian Kennedy, RP David Hernandez and OF Gerardo Parra. These moves mean that all players on the 40-man roster are now under contract for the 2012 season.

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Barry Enright was paddled for five earned runs, eight hits and four walks in just 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision for Triple-A Reno Sunday, July 24. He lost a rotation spot and was recently demoted by the big club.

The Arizona Diamondbacks are looking for a rebound from SP Barry Enright, reports Nick Piecoro, of The Arizona Republic. Enright has allowed four runs in each of his first three starts, although manager Kirk Gibson has seen progress. "I thought last time he actually started to throw all of his pitches and pitch," Gibson said. Enright will take the hill Saturday, April 23, against the New York Mets.
