It is believed that hitting coach Howard Johnson, pitching coach Dan Warthen, third base coach Chip Hale and bullpen coach Randy Niemann will remain with the team.

Third base coach Razor Shines and catching coach Sandy Alomar Jr. will remain with the staff but will have different roles. Hitting coach Howard Johnson, pitching coach Dan Warthen and bullpen coach Randy Niemann will be back in the same positions in 2010.

"The way I look at this year, we failed because we didn't reach our goal of getting to the postseason. But when I look at us offensively, we had a lot of positives, and our positives outweighed our negatives."
