The Rochester Democrat and Chronicle reports Buffalo Bills DT Tyrone Robertson has been suspended for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. It is the second time he has been suspended this season for such a fine, which means he will be out for one year, a league source said.

Updating a story from October 11, the Ap reports the Buffalo Bills have placed DT Tyrone Robertson on the reserve/non-football illness list. He just completed a four-game NFL suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Bills coach Gregg Williams said Robertson is not eligible to be activated for quite some time, and referred all further questions to the NFL.

Len Pasquarelli of ESPN.com reports the Buffalo Bills are reportedly getting ready to part with DT Tyrone Robertson, as soon as his four-game NFL suspension is over. They repotedly will seek to recoup a prorated share of his signing bonus and, after perhaps keeping him around for a week following the end of his suspension, waive him.

Updating an earlier story, the NFL has announced Buffalo Bills DT Tyrone Robertson has been suspended for four games for violating the NFL Substance Abuse Policy. Robertson is eligible to return to the Bills active roster on Monday, October 28, following the team’s October 27 game against the Detroit Lions.
