Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber hinted that he may decide to retire if the team fires head coach Raheem Morris in the offseason. "I would be lying if I didn't say that," Barber said when asked if his future was linked to Morris'. "That's somewhat true. But we'll see. Ideally, I'd love to be back and play with (Morris), and (secondary coach) Jimmy (Lake) and (linebackers coach) Joe Baker."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Ronde Barber said Sunday, Dec. 19, that he is leaning towards returning in 2011, reports Scott Reynolds, of PewterReport.com. "Well, let me answer this the correct way," Barber said. "The situation is not just a 'Do I want to come back next year?' type of situation. It's just not. There are plenty of factors involved. Do they want me back? Will I be motivated in the offseason to come back? Will Raheem [Morris] want me to come back? Am I in [defensive backs coach] Jimmy Lake's plans to come back? There is more than just one factor."
