Both underwent Tommy John surgery last season. "They're doing fine. I think both of them threw [Saturday]," manager Ned Yost said. "Duffy threw 20 pitches in a game and Paulino threw like 25 pitches in BP with good results. They're fine." Both are aiming for minor league pitching assignments in the next month or two.

I'm just trying to find a consistent release point, but that will come with time. As far as the physical side of it goes, there's nothing wrong." He remains on track to return sometime in July.
