Tigers | Cameron Maybin sitting out

Mon, 25 Jul 2016 13:41:33 -0700

Detroit Tigers OF Cameron Maybin is out of the starting lineup again Monday, July 25. SS Andrew Romine is starting in center field and batting ninth against Boston Red Sox SP Drew Pomeranz. Also, SS Jose Iglesias is hitting second for the second straight day.

Fantasy Tip: Maybin could be dealing with an injury since he's been out two days in a row. Check back for an update. Romine and Iglesias are both light-hitting middle infielders, but if you must take a flier on a deep sleeper in daily leagues it should be Iglesias since he's hitting in the heart of a powerful lineup. He's hitting just .255 on the year, though, with three homers and 21 RBI, so don't expect much.
