Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo hopes to talk to former Rams WR Isaac Bruce about the team's vacancy at wide receivers coach. Spagnuolo said, "I don't know him that well. But I've heard so many great things about him as a person. And I certainly know what he was like as a player. At some point I'll try to give him a call."

Jim Thomas, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports San Francisco 49ers WR Isaac Bruce, who is expected to retire this offseason, is said to be open to the possibility of talking to the St. Louis Rams about their wide receivers coaching position if they are interested in him for the job, according to sources. Sources said Bruce would only be a wide receivers coach for the Rams.

"You've got a Hall of Fame guy who played 16 years. He's just the ultimate professional. When you've had a career like that, you deserve it. I told coach Singletary he can start in front of me and everything. I just want to see him play one more time," Morgan said.
