SportingNews.com reports former St. Louis Rams S Willie Gary has joined a lawsuit against the New England Patriots Friday, Feb. 15, seeking refunds for 2002 Super Bowl tickets, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer. Gary, a group of two Kentucky lawyers and a Cincinnati ticket broker are charging that the Patriots cheated in the 2002 Super Bowl, so all 72,922 people who attended the game should get their money back. Gary is also asking for each member of the Rams Super Bowl team to receive $25,000, the difference between the bonuses paid to members of the winning team and the losing team.

The Post Dispatch reports the St. Louis Rams have allocated backup S Willie Gary and backup OL Kaulana Noa to NFL Europe. They will join WR Dane Looker, LB Michael Hawkes, TE Jason Gavadza and G Rob Gatrell, who had been announced earlier as players heading to NFL Europe.

The Post Dispatch reports St. Louis Rams starting LB London Fletcher (tight hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday. Backup OL Kaulana Noa (sick) also missed practice. Reserve OL Cameron Spikes (flu) was able to return to practice. Starting DT Jeff Zgonina (elbow) did not practice Wednesday. Backup S S Rich Coady (ankle) and backup CB Willie Gary (ankle) both missed practice, while starting RT Ryan Tucker (ankle) returned to practice.

St. Louis Rams head coach Mike Martz said S Willie Gary (sprained ankle) is coming along fine but his status is still a little suspect for this weekend's game. DL Jeff Zgonina (triceps) still has a very swollen triceps but will be able to play. They've fitted his elbow for a brace, which he may have to wear. OT Ryan Tucker (ankle) is back at full-speed and will start this weekend. LB Dustin Cohen (knee) may be available as a special teams player this weekend.

"I think they're excited about doing it," coach Mike Martz said. "It gives them a chance to be under a microscope, so to speak, in terms of what we do." Backup QBs Jamie Martin and Marc Bulger were among the offensive players on-hand. New starting LB Tommy Polley is part of the bye week practice group, as is RB Trung Canidate.
