The Post Dispatch reports newly signed St. Louis Rams RB Justin Watson was quite busy in practice on Wednesday, both on offense and on special teams, where he was immediately plugged in as a starter. "We did kickoff coverage today and I started so I'm sure I'll be out there Sunday," said Watson.

As news of the St. Louis Rams expansion list slowly trickles out of St. Louis, a team source confirmed Thursday to the Post-Dispatch RT Ryan Tucker is on the list. As previously reported, the other confirmed names on the list are RB Justin Watson, and LBs Mark Fields and Brian Allen. Tucker, contacted Thursday night, said he didn't want to discuss the matter.

The Associated Press reports the St. Louis Rams defeated the Buffalo Bills 24-10 tonight. QB Marc Bulger led the Rams on the game winning drive. RB Justin Watson's 5-yard run up the middle gave St. Louis a 14-10 lead 1:21 into the fourth quarter. Bulger went 10-for-15 for 112 yards. WR Torry Holt caught a 60-yard TD pass from backup QB Joe Germaine. Germaine had another impressive performance, going 8-for-15 for 161 yards. Each of the Rams PKs missed a FG. For Buffalo rookie RB Travis Henry scored on a 25-yard TD run. PK Steve Christie added a 35-yard FG.

Jim Thomas reports for the Post-Dispatch after two seasons as the St. Louis Rams primary starter at fullback, Robert Holcombe will return to running back this season. With the development of James Hodgins as a blocking fullback, coach Mike Martz believes it now makes sense to return Holcombe to his natural halfback position, where he and Trung Candidate will back up RB Marshall Faulk. Holcombe is down to 225 pounds after weighing in at 245 pounds last season. Martz said last years's No. 2 RB Justin Watson will be switched to fullback.
