Orioles | Nolan Reimold receives start

Mon, 27 Jul 2015 13:07:34 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF Nolan Reimold will start in left field against Atlanta Braves SP Alex Wood Monday, July 27, and is batting first in the lineup. OF David Lough is not in the lineup Monday.

Fantasy Tip: Reimold ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) went 3-for-3 with two RBI in his last game and is hitting .250 this month but has not recorded any other RBI during that span. Reimold could be a cheaper option for owners looking to spend money at other positions but there likely are better options on FantasyScore.

Orioles | David Lough leading off again

Sun, 26 Jul 2015 07:58:05 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF David Lough is playing left field and leading off against Tampa Bay Rays SP Matt Moore Sunday, July 26.

Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) doesn't instill a lot of confidence with a .230/.269/.363 slash line. However, setting the table against a struggling Moore () bumps his value up. Lough stands as an upside source of cap relief for FantasyScore players Sunday.

Orioles | David Lough leading off

Sat, 25 Jul 2015 13:18:06 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF David Lough is leading off Saturday, July 25, against Tampa Bay Rays SP Erasmo Ramirez.

Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) really doesn't have much to write home about with a .220-4-12 line on the season. But with Manny Machado sliding down to the three-hole, Lough could be auditioning for the leadoff role. Avoid him on FantasyScore for now.

Orioles | David Lough starting in left field

Sun, 12 Jul 2015 07:56:49 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF David Lough is starting in left field and batting eighth against Washington Nationals SP Max Scherzer Sunday, July 12. OF Nolan Reimold and 2B Steve Pearce are not in the starting lineup Sunday.

Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is an ill-advised start at FantasyScore facing Scherzer Sunday.

Orioles | David Lough draws into lineup

Mon, 06 Jul 2015 13:40:40 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF David Lough is starting in left field and hitting ninth against Minnesota Twins SP Phil Hughes Monday, July 6.

Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is hitting just .222 (22-for-99) on the season with four home runs and 12 RBI. While occupying the last spot in the batting order, he doesn't hold much FantasyScore appeal aside from maybe a nice source of salary cap relief.

Orioles | David Lough draws into lineup

Thu, 02 Jul 2015 14:06:31 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF David Lough is starting in left field and hitting ninth against Texas Rangers SP Yovani Gallardo Thursday, July 2. OF Travis Snider is starting on the bench.

Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) should be an afterthought on FantasyScore, especially at the tail end of B'more's lineup. Plus, Gallardo only allowed two earned runs in 33 1/3 innings over his last five starts. Stay away from Lough tonight.

Orioles | Adam Jones out again Wednesday

Wed, 24 Jun 2015 12:43:49 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF Adam Jones (shoulder) is once again out of the starting lineup Wednesday, June 24. OF David Lough is starting in center field again and is hitting ninth against Boston Red Sox SP Clay Buchholz.

Fantasy Tip: Jones looks like a candidate to land on the DL if he doesn't improve soon. Make plans accordingly in traditional leagues. Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has two home runs and nine RBI in his last 24 at-bats, but he's hitting only .221 (17-for-77) against right-handed pitchers this season. Despite his hot patch recently, Lough remains a low-end outfield play on FantasyScore.

Orioles | David Lough powering up

Tue, 23 Jun 2015 20:33:35 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF David Lough cracked a three-run home run Tuesday, June 23, against the Boston Red Sox, and he finished with a pair of runs scored.

Fantasy Tip: Lough ($1,800; or 3.6% of cap) hit just one homer over his first 40 games, but he has three in the past 10 games. If you're looking for a hot FantasyScore option with a low price, check out Lough until he cools down.

Orioles | Adam Jones remains out

Tue, 23 Jun 2015 13:17:13 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF Adam Jones (shoulder) is out of the lineup for the fifth time in seven games Tuesday, June 23, in favor of OF David Lough.

Fantasy Tip: Jones has been dealing with a sore right shoulder, and his availability is becoming more of a concern. Jones might be in jeopardy of landing on the disabled list soon. Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is hitting ninth against Joe Kelly. It's not a bad matchup, but his .222-3-9 line on the season isn't much to punch his FantasyScore ticket for.

Orioles | Adam Jones on the bench

Sun, 21 Jun 2015 08:28:37 -0700

Baltimore Orioles OF Adam Jones (shoulder) is not in the starting lineup against Toronto Blue Jays SP Scott Copeland Sunday, June 21. OF David Lough will start in center field and is batting ninth in the lineup.

Fantasy Tip: It is not known if Jones ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) is receiving a day off or his shoulder is bothering him, so owners should look for a possible update. Lough ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has three hits and five RBI over his last five games but is hitting .224 this season and may not be a great option on FantasyScore.
