Miami Marlins SS Derek Dietrich's contract has been purchased from Double-A Jacksonville. Miami is bringing up the prospect because they have placed INF Chris Valaika (wrist) on the 15-day disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Dietrich has posted a .282/.408/.505 slash line in 28 games for the Suns this season. He has a little power and speed and makes for an interesting player to pursue in NL-only leagues, even though he's probably quite raw.
