|Giants | Madison Bumgarner has owned Brewers|
Tue, 26 May 2015 16:34:17 -0700
San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner is 4-2 with a 1.65 ERA in seven career starts against the Milwaukee Brewers, who he faces Tuesday, May 26. He is 1-0 with a 0.57 ERA in two starts at Miller Park.
Fantasy Tip: Even though the Brewers aren't nearly as anemic on offense as they were in the season's opening month, Bumgarner ($8,500, 17.0% of cap) remains a fine starting pitching option tonight on the road, especially given his career numbers against the Brew Crew.

|Giants | Madison Bumgarner strong against Dodgers|
Thu, 21 May 2015 00:04:16 -0700
San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner is 1-0 with a 1.88 ERA against the Los Angeles Dodgers this season. In his last 12 starts against the Dodgers, Bumgarner is 8-3 with a 1.94 ERA. Bumgarner will pitch Thursday, May 21.
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($8,500, 17.0% of cap) is a gifted pitcher, but there's something about the Dodgers that brings out the best in Bumgarner. He is a definite start.

|Giants | Madison Bumgarner solid again|
Fri, 15 May 2015 19:51:05 -0700
San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner allowed two runs on eight hits over seven innings in a 10-2 win over the Cincinnati Reds Friday, May 15, and he is 3-1 with a 2.14 ERA in his last five starts.
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($8,500, 17.0% of cap) started the year with a couple of rough outings, but he has been looking like an ace again recently. He can shut down any lineup when he is rolling, and Bumgarner is worth considering at FantasyScore against just about any opponent.

|Giants | MadBum looks for better results|
Mon, 04 May 2015 19:49:26 -0700
San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner looks for better results against the San Diego Padres Monday, May 4. In his first meeting with the Padres April 11 he was pounded for five runs and 10 hits while lasting just three innings.
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($8,500; 17.0% of cap) pieced it together for FantasyScore owners last time out, and he rarely struggles in back-to-back outings against anyone, so look for a much better stat line Monday.

|Diamondbacks | Ender Inciarte solid against Bumgarner|
Wed, 29 Apr 2015 01:41:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Inciarte ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has six hits against the Giants' top pitcher, so the best bet is to leave him in your lineup when he goes up against the World Series MVP.

|Giants | Madison Bumgarner roughed up|
Sat, 11 Apr 2015 19:15:29 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($9,300, 18.6% of cap) allowed 10 hits and five earned runs, while striking out four batters. Unless an injury is revealed later on, chalk this one up to just a bad day for one of the league's best left-handers. This should serve to more of a testament to the Padres improved offense.

|Giants | Madison Bumgarner tapped for opener|
Mon, 06 Apr 2015 04:23:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bumgarner ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) carries a hefty price tag, but the investment is worth it. He faces a weaker-hitting lineup in the Diamondbacks, a team that Bumgarner was 2-0 with a 2.22 ERA against last season. The Giants' hitting lineup has some holes to fill, but Bumgarner is a pitcher that can easily overcome those flaws.

|Giants | Madison Bumgarner not worried about workload|
Fri, 20 Feb 2015 13:33:12 -0800
San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner is expected to be the team's ace and opening day starter this year. Some are worried about Bumgarner's heavy workload in seasons past, as he threw 217 innings last year and 53 more in the postseason. This offseason, he didn't start throwing until January. Bumgarner's teammates aren't worried about his workload, either, citing "country strong" as he generates plenty of power from his legs and midsection while pitching. He also remains efficient, averaging 15.5 to 15.9 pitches per inning in each of his five seasons. Bumgarner has also improved his first-pitch-strike percentage, as well.
Fantasy Tip: Unlike a similar pitcher that regressed significantly last year after heavy workloads (Justin Verlander), Bumgarner is much younger at 25. He's also shown the ability to increase his workload drastically earlier in his career in the jump to the majors. Sure, there is some risk there, but until he shows us any differently, Bumgarner should be viewed as a top-tier fantasy ace.
