Tigers | David Price gets extra day of rest

Mon, 11 Aug 2014 20:56:42 -0700

Detroit Tigers SP David Price will be bumped back from Friday, Aug. 15, to Saturday, Aug. 16, against the Seattle Mariners, getting one extra day to rest.

Fantasy Tip: The team was forced to shuffle its rotation due to Rick Porcello working in relief Sunday in a 19-inning game in Toronto, and injuries to Anibal Sanchez and Justin Verlander. Price is rather unfortunate, too, as now instead of facing James Paxton, he will be opposed by the red hot Felix Hernandez. Sorry fantasy owners.
