Thu, 27 Mar 2008 10:13:33 -0700 The Associated Press reports former NFL DL Tyoka Jackson was ordered by a federal jury to pay a flight attendant $3,000 for pushing him on a plane. The attendant and his wife were seeking up to $1 million for the incident. Jackson was ordered to pay Northwest Airlines attendant Gary Rihn to cover medical expenses for the incident that happened in 2005. Rihn was seeking $250,000 in damages and $750,000 in punitive damages. Rihn claimed that Jackson pushed him across an aisle in the airplane and into another passenger after asking Jackson to stow his laptop bag. Jackson said Rihn was antagonizing him.

Thu, 25 Jan 2007 11:02:56 -0800 Robert Patrick, of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, reports Detroit Lions DE Tyoka Jackson has had a million-dollar lawsuit filed against him this week by a male flight attendant for an incident that occurred on an airplane two years ago. Jackson, who was with the St. Louis Rams at the time of the incident, allegedly knocked the flight attendant across the airplane after the victim asked Jackson to stow his carry-on bag. Jackson reportedly used two hands to shove the victim, Gary Rihn, across the aisle and into another passenger.
