"There's definitely the thought of (a change) now," Sveum said. "I can't lie to you." RPs James Russell and Rafael Dolis could become the main options to close now, but it's unclear if they would share the role. Marmol continues to frustrate Sveum with his lack of control and pitch selection. "It's the same story again," Sveum said. "Throwing 3-0 sliders when you have three-run leads is just not acceptable. Nothing else can happen except a two-run homer and nobody is on base. Somehow we have to make adjustments there to throw fastballs in these situations."

It was Marmol's third blown save in five chances this year, and he's walked 12 batters in just 8 2/3 frames. Marmol gave up one hit and three runs (one earned) in 18 pitches to raise his ERA to 6.23. However, RP Rafael Dolis was charged with the blown save and loss.
