According to ESPN, the Seattle Seahawks have added CB Paul Miranda to their expansion list. That makes their final list: Miranda, WR Fabien Bownes, C/LS Jean-Philippe Darche, WR/KR Charlie Rogers and DE Michael Sinclair.

The Seattle Times reports the Seattle Seahawks are attending the Senior Bowl practices this week and also preparing their list for the upcoming NFL expansion draft. The Seahawks have 41 eligible players and will most likely expose DE Michael Sinclair and his $3.8 million base 2002 base salary. Other Seahawks who may be included on the expansion-draft list include CB Paul Miranda, FS Maurice Kelly and WR Fabien Bownes.

As an update to previous reports, the deal WR Fabien Bownes signed with the Seattle Seahawks is a two-year deal. He'll have base salaries of $448,000 (2001) and $500,000 (2002).

According to the team's official site, the Seattle Seahawks have re-signed free agent WR Fabien Bownes. They also signed three players who recently completed stints in the XFL, CB Donnie Caldwell, WR Corey Nelson and S Tawambi Settles.

The Denver Post reports the Denver Broncos will host a visit with free agent WR Willie Jackson (Saints) later today. He will be the fourth free agent WR to visit Denver within the past week and probably the last. The team expects to sign a WR later this week and have informed the player's agents of that. Their four free agent WR choices are Jackson, Eddie Kennison (Chicago), Fabien Bownes (Seattle) and Larry Shannon (Oakland). The Broncos also are expected to intensify efforts to sign Tennessee free agent CB Denard Walker. As previously reported, OT Todd Steussie will be in town sometime this week.

Mike Sando reports for the Tacoma News Tribune Seattle Seahawks free agent WR/special teams player Fabien Bownes plans to visit Denver next week. The Seahawks have tentatively scheduled visits with free agent LBs Cornell Brown (Ravens) and James Darling (Eagles). Another separate report from last night had the Seahawks also tentatively meeting with LB Levon Kirkland, formerly of the Steelers.
