The Seattle Times reports the Seattle Seahawks are attending the Senior Bowl practices this week and also preparing their list for the upcoming NFL expansion draft. The Seahawks have 41 eligible players and will most likely expose DE Michael Sinclair and his $3.8 million base 2002 base salary. Other Seahawks who may be included on the expansion-draft list include CB Paul Miranda, FS Maurice Kelly and WR Fabien Bownes.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports SS Kerry Joseph is expected to be signed by the Seattle Seahawks today because of injuries to free safeties Marcus Robertson (pulled hamstring) and Maurice Kelly (dislocated toes). Joseph started 10 games at strong safety for the Seahawks last year.

The Seattle Times reports Seattle Seahawks SS Maurice Kelly (foot) will undergo surgery on three toes that were dislocated over the weekend. He'll miss at least six weeks of action. S Marcus Robertson (hamstring) will try to practice Wednesday. If he cannot play again this week, the team would go with rookie S Curtis Fuller.

Percy Allen reports for the Seattle Times, as an update to a previous story, Seattle Seahawks S Maurice Kelly will undergo surgery to repair three toes that he dislocated during Sunday's game. He'll miss at least six weeks. Starter Marcus Robertson, who has missed the past three games at safety because of a left hamstring pull, will attempt to practice tomorrow. If Robertson can't play this week, rookie Curtis Fuller would get the start. The Seahawks may also attempt to sign a player.
