New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram said he does not want his personal goals to outweigh the team's goals this season. "I just want to go out there and do what I can to help the team win a championship," Ingram said. "Of course I want to have a big year individually. But, you know, the main goal is to win games and stay healthy and be out there on the field on Sundays." Ingram said he is fine with sharing carries with Pierre Thomas and Darren Sproles.

New Orleans Saints RB Pierre Thomas said head coach Sean Payton wants more focus on the running game this season. "There's going to be more focus this year on that ground game than any year. He said we've got to get back to running the ball, having 100-yard games non-stop. I can't wait. I'm excited and I know everybody else is excited," Payton said.

New Orleans Saints RB Chris Ivory had eight carries for a team-high 34 yards in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers. RB Mark Ingram had 10 carries, but he managed just 27 yards. RB Pierre Thomas had one carry for no gain. Meanwhile, RB Darren Sproles had no carries, but he did post a team-high seven catches and 65 yards.

New Orleans Saints RB Mark Ingram carried 12 times for a team-best 67 yards and a touchdown in the Week 11 game against the Oakland Raiders. RB Chris Ivory spelled him eight times for 37 yards, and RB Pierre Thomas came on for five carries and 30 yards.
