Kent Somers, of the Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals LB Karlos Dansby (thumb) is not likely to be the starting strong side linebacker in 2006, with DL/LB Calvin Pace being the favorite to win that job. The coaching staff may shift Dansby over to weak side linebacker, where he would compete for a starting job with LB Orlando Huff, the incumbent starter. There is still no timetable on Dansby's recovery from thumb surgery.
