Mike Sando reports for the Tacoma News Tribune the NFL has reduced Seattle Seahawks LB Marcus Bell's $25,000 fine. The fine was reduced to $10,000 upon appeal. Officials determined the incident was not as severe as it once appeared, a league spokesperson said in confirming the reduction.

The Associated Press reports Seattle Seahawks coach Mike Holmgren said he is making some changes in his lineup. LB Orlando Huff will see increased playing time when the Seahawks play at Dallas on Sunday. The change doesn't mean starting LB Marcus Bell will be sidelined Sunday. Holmgren said if the game is to close at the end he'll scratch the plans.
