Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 13 of 34 passes for 176 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 14 against the San Diego Chargers. He was lifted late in the blowout loss in favor of QB Tyler Thigpen, who completed two of his three passes for 19 yards with one interception. Fitzpatrick has one or fewer TD throws in five of his past six games, and he has not hit 300 passing yards since Week 3.

Buffalo Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick had a rough day at the office Saturday, Aug. 20, against the Denver Broncos in preseason play. He hit just six of 16 passing attempts, good for 44 yards with no scores and one interception. Backup QB Tyler Thigpen hit 11 of 20 passes for 118 yards and a score.

Buffalo Bills QB Tyler Thigpen feels his time with the Miami Dolphins helped him develop as a quarterback. Thigpen said the coaching staff there did a good job helping him with the fundamentals, and he was able to learn a lot on the mental side of the game from QBs Chad Pennington and Chad Henne. He noted being able to learn how those two QBs study game film and prepare for each week was a big positive for him.
