Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Boise State shot putter Eric Matthias measured a height of 6-5 3/8 and a weight of 270 pounds at his Pro Day March 5. Matthias is a shot putter on Boise State's track team. He ran the 40-yard dash in 5.05 seconds and 5.25 seconds. He finished the short shuttle in 5.32 seconds and the three-cone drill in 8.02 seconds. He measured a 31-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-3 broad jump and completed 13 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. His arm measures 35 1/8 inches.
