The Nats are one of six teams to show interest in him. O'Flaherty is likely seeking a one-year deal since he'll miss at least the first month of next season. Updating a previous report, Atlanta Braves RP Eric O'Flaherty (elbow) will visit Dr. James Andrews Monday, May 20. He is expected to need season-ending Tommy John surgery, although he is holding out hope that he could pitch again this year after resting for several weeks. "I'm trying to be optimistic, but they're making surgery appointments already," O'Flaherty said. "I don't know, it's not looking too good. The vibe I'm getting from doctors and the front office and stuff, it seems like they're not too optimistic."
