Chargers | Parker returns as coaching intern

Jen Rojas, of Chargers.com, reports former San Diego Chargers WR Eric Parker has returned to the team after accepting an intern coaching position as part of the Bill Walsh NFL Minority Coaching Fellowship. Parker will help the coaches during the team's offseason program, minicamp and training camp. He will work closely with wide receivers coach Charlie Joiner and strength and conditioning coach Jeff Hurd.

The San Diego Chargers announced Jeff Hurd has been hired as the team's strength and conditioning coach. He agreed to a two-year contract.
