Rom Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers special teams coordinator Shawn Slocum knows what is wrong with P Jeremy Kapinos. Slocum said, "An over-stride is usually what creates inconsistency in a punter. When he keeps his steps short, he tends to lift the ball better. He had two good punts where they did that, and the others were not good enough." If Kkapinos is unable to fix the problem soon, the team may look to add another punter.

Bob McGinn, of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, reports the Green Bay Packers will retain special teams coach Shawn Slocum for next season, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. The Packers ranked last in the league in special teams in 2006.
