Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Lenoir-Rhyne LB Aaron Cotteral measured a weight of 6-0 1/2 and a weight of 226 pounds at his Pro Day March 6. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.50 seconds and 4.53 seconds. He ran the short shuttle in 4.54 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.24 seconds.

NFL | Cotteral turns down contract with AFL to pursue NFL dream

LRBears.com reports Lenior-Rhyne DL Aaron Cotteral has turned down a two-year contract offer from the Arena Football League's Orlando Predators to pursue a career in the NFL. Cotteral is preparing for his NFL Pro Day in March and has been chosen to participate in the NFL Europe Draft Pool Feb. 23. Cotteral finished the year with 53 tackles and led the team in takedowns for a loss with 18 and quarterback sacks with 6 1/2.
