Len Pasquarelli, of ESPN.com, reports unrestricted free-agent PK Steve Christie (Giants) signed a practice roster contract with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Christie is expected to be activated to the main roster due to an injury to the Argonauts' regular kicker.

ESPN.com's John Clayton reports free agent PK Steve Christie (Giants) remains a man without a team. Christie is still a good kicker as he made 22 of 28 field goals for the New York Giants last season. Christie now is apparently set to be one of the top kickers available in case of injury to a kicker currently on a roster.
