David White, of the San Francisco Chronicle, reports Oakland Raiders head coach Tom Cable said tryout WRs Samie Parker (Seahawks) and WR Drisan James (Eagles) did well in their tryouts with the team. The team could try to sign one or both receivers.

Larry Mayer, of ChicagoBears.com, reports Chicago Bears WR Drisan James is hoping to show the team he as excellent character and dispel reports in some draft guides that he's immature. "There's a lot of press about me having a bad attitude. I totally don't agree with that and I'm sure that most coaches that I've had don't agree with that. That's something that I feel like I need to overcome as far as what people say about me on the outside," James said. When asked where those concerns originated, James added: "I think at times it's more about body language. Whenever I make a mistake, I'll think about it right when I make it and I may give the perception that I have a bad attitude or I'm pouting or something."

Gil Brandt, of NFL.com, reports Boise State WR Drisan James measured a height of 6-0 and a weight of 188 pounds at his Pro Day March 5. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.40 seconds and 4.45 seconds. He completed the short shuttle in 4.33 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.05 seconds. He stood on the rest of his numbers from the NFL Combine.
