The agent for impending free-agent CB Cary Williams (Ravens) said Wednesday, Feb. 20, that he plans to meet with Baltimore Ravens vice president of football administration Pat Moriarty at the NFL Scouting Combine later this week. It's thought that Williams is unlikely to return with CBs Lardarius Webb, Corey Graham, Jimmy Smith and Chykie Brown all returning.

Baltimore Ravens CB Corey Graham triggered a playing-time escalator clause in his deal that will boost his base salary for 2013 up to $2.05 million from $1.8 million. His new cap figure is $2.65 million.

Baltimore Ravens CBs Corey Graham, Chykie Brown and Chris X. Johnson will step up in the absence of CB Jimmy Smith (groin) for the team's secondary that is also without C Lardarius Webb (knee) for the rest of the season. Graham started outside and Brown saw 49 of 77 defensive snaps against the Oakland Raiders in Week 10. Graham has mostly played inside in his career, but he added that he's very comfortable with the team's defense. It's unlikely that Johnson will have the team's schemes down in time to make an immediate impact.

Baltimore Ravens CB Jimmy Smith (groin) has been bothered by a groin injury for weeks, and he did not make the start in Week 10 against the Oakland Raiders. Smith was active, but CB Corey Graham started in his absence opposite CB Cary Williams.

Baltimore Ravens CB Corey Graham has seen the majority of his time on special teams but hopes to see some playing time on defense soon. "I definitely want to do more on defense, but that will come. You just have to wait your turn. When you get that opportunity, make the best out of it. That's all you can do," Graham said. He has received only seven snaps on defense this season.
