The Indianapolis Colts have re-signed unrestricted free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw (Colts) to a one-year deal. The financial terms have not been disclosed.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw has marginal fantasy football value, largely because of his extensive injury history. Monitor his expected involvement going forward, but consider him no better than a flier on draft day.

The Indianapolis Colts are in talks to bring back RB Ahmad Bradshaw.
Tue, 04 Feb 2014 17:11:11 -0800
The Indianapolis Colts likely will not re-sign impending free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw this offseason, because he likely would not accept being behind RBs Vick Ballard and Trent Richardson on the depth chart.
Mon, 13 Jan 2014 13:01:59 -0800
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said RB Trent Richardson is still a part of the team's future even though he struggled this season. "He wants to be great. He's got all the talent, he's got all the ability. We would never have done what we did if we didn't believe that. We look for him to have a great offseason and have a great 2014 campaign."
Fantasy Tip: Richardson's fantasy value for next season is uncertain because it is not known what the team will do at the position during the offseason. It is not known if the team will re-sign Donald Brown or if Ahmad Bradshaw will be able to return from his neck injury.

Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) will not play for at least two weeks because of his neck injury and is still deciding if he needs to undergo surgery.
Fri, 04 Oct 2013 11:54:00 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) will take some time to decide whether to undergo surgery on his neck. "Ahmad has obviously seen several specialist, collected a lot of information," head coach Chuck Pagano said. "He's going to take the next couple of weeks to kind of sit back and decide where he's going to go with this thing. I don't know ultimately where that is. But in the end, it'll be up to Ahmad and the doctors to come to a final decision on what's going to transpire there. He'll be out at least a couple more weeks." RB Trent Richardson will continue as the starting running back, with RBs Donald Brown and Robert Hughes backing him up.
Fantasy Tip: It doesn't look good for Bradshaw's chances of returning anytime soon, let alone this season. Dropping him for more valuable options at this time is probably the right course of action. Brown is worth stashing in deeper leagues as insurance for T-Rich.
Thu, 03 Oct 2013 13:20:03 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck), who is visiting with Dr. Robert Watkins, is unlikely to play in Week 5 against the Seattle Seahawks. Bradshaw is trying to determine if he'll need to undergo surgery.
Thu, 03 Oct 2013 09:19:45 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) is still searching for answers to his neck issue. Bradshaw has visited Dr. Robert Watkins.
Fantasy Tip: The idea that Bradshaw is still looking for answers to his neck issue is not ideal. As long as Bradshaw continues to have issues with the neck, he will have no fantasy value.
Thu, 03 Oct 2013 07:28:40 -0700
Updating previous reports, Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) has the team concerned that he could need season-ending surgery to repair the issue.
Fantasy Tip: His fantasy stock continues to plummet. Stay tuned.

Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) will not play in the team's Week 4 game. Bradshaw suffered a neck injury in Week 3, and doctors are trying to figure out what is wrong.
Fantasy Tip: Obviously this means an increased workload for Trent Richardson, who you need to get into your lineup in all fantasy football formats.
Fri, 27 Sep 2013 08:35:17 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) was not seen during the media's portion of practice Friday, Sept. 27.
Fantasy Tip: Looks like Trent Richardson's value boosts a bit this week. With a full week of practice, and the load on his shoulders, he looks to be a low-end RB1.
Thu, 26 Sep 2013 14:31:40 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 26.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw injured his neck in the team's Week 3 victory. It's unclear what the exact seriousness of the ailment is, but it's not a good sign that he has yet to practice this week. Keep tabs on his status tomorrow. If he doesn't play, Trent Richardson, who is already a must-start, will see his value go up.

Mon, 23 Sep 2013 11:51:57 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw said he expects to create a productive tandem with RB Trent Richardson this season. "Me and Trent are going to be a two-headed monster. Mon, 23 Sep 2013 08:27:07 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw had 19 rushes for 95 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. RB Trent Richardson had 13 carries for 35 yards and a score.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw isn't going out without a struggle. The team can afford to slowly work T-Rich in the offense, which gives Bradshaw a little time to establish himself enough to work a 50-50 split.
Thu, 19 Sep 2013 09:32:30 -0700
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said RB Trent Richardson will get as much as he can handle in the team's Week 3 game. "We did not bring him in here to be the water boy on Sunday," he said. "He'll be ready to roll."
Fantasy Tip: It'll be tough to sit Richardson in this scenario, but if there ever was one, this is the week to bypass him, depending on what your other options are. The Colts are going up against a stout San Francisco 49ers run defense, and Richardson won't have much time to prepare in a new offense. Expect Ahmad Bradshaw to maintain short-term point-per-reception value until T-Rich is up to speed.
Wed, 18 Sep 2013 15:15:45 -0700
The Indianapolis Colts acquired RB Trent Richardson from the Cleveland Browns Wednesday, Sept. 18, in exchange for their first-round pick next year.
Fantasy Tip: T-Rich's value should increase with this move to a much more efficient offense under a more productive and talented quarterback. Ahmad Bradshaw owners won't be happy with this move, and although he'll likely still see some touches, he'll primarily just be a handcuff for Richardson owners now. Fri, 13 Sep 2013 10:07:36 -0700
Updating a previous report, Indianapolis Colts RB Vick Ballard (knee) will miss the rest of the season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in practice Thursday, Sept. 12. He will undergo season-ending surgery and has already been put on Injured Reserve. Ballard was injured in a non-contact drill Thursday. RB Ahmad Bradshaw will now take the lead running back duties, with RB Donald Brown sharing touches.
Fri, 13 Sep 2013 09:28:50 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Vick Ballard (knee) will miss the remainder of the season after injuring his knee in practice Thursday, Sept. 12.
Fantasy Tip: This quickens the pace at which Ahmad Bradshaw will get back to a starter's workload. He hasn't looked 100 percent yet, but he's their most capable every-down back. He's a low-end RB2 in most leagues. Unfortunately, Donald Brown will probably steal reps for his occasional big-play ability. He's nothing more than a desperation flex play, however. Also, Indy will probably ink a third carrier that can at least spell these two, perhaps in goal-line spots.
Sun, 08 Sep 2013 13:37:28 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Vick Ballard had 13 carries for 63 yards in Week 1, while RB Ahmad Bradshaw rushed seven times for 26 yards.
Fantasy Tip: This is still a very fluid situation, but Bradshaw should have the most long-term value.
Fri, 06 Sep 2013 12:47:19 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 6, and is listed as probable for Week 1.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw has been dealing with this foot injury for a while but has been able to play with it. He should be considered a No. 2 fantasy running back this week but likely will give up some playing time to Vick Ballard and Donald Brown during the game.
Thu, 05 Sep 2013 13:40:27 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) fully participated in practice Thursday, Sept. 5.

Mon, 02 Sep 2013 11:18:31 -0700
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) will be able to play Week 1.

Mon, 02 Sep 2013 05:42:46 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) is expected to get the lion's share of the workload in the backfield with RBs Donald Brown and Vick Ballard. "I think he's in a really good place mentally," head coach Chuck Pagano said. "I know physically, he's real close to getting back and hopefully we'll increase his snaps this week and hopefully he's ready for this game."
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw is a decent RB3, while the other two are mere handcuffs right now.
Wed, 28 Aug 2013 11:01:03 -0700
Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton is expected to use a running-back-by-committee approach this season with RBs Ahmad Bradshaw, Vick Ballard and Donald Brown getting plenty of work.
Fantasy Tip: Running back committees are not the best thing for fantasy owners, but it looks like the Colts are going that route. Bradshaw likely is the most valuable out of the three and should be seen as a No. 3 running back or flex option. Ballard should be a No. 4 or No. 5 running back on fantasy teams while Brown probably should not be taken in drafts.
Thu, 22 Aug 2013 11:54:42 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot), TE Coby Fleener (knee), TE Dwayne Allen (foot) and OG Mike McGlynn (knee) will not play in the team's third preseason game.
Wed, 14 Aug 2013 08:10:49 -0700
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano referred to RB Ahmad Bradshaw as an "every-down back."
Fantasy Tip: While "every-down back" and "100 percent" are musical words to fantasy owners' domes, it remains to be seen how much Bradshaw has left in the tank after a number of injuries over the past few years. Take that label with a grain of salt, but he has some upside as your RB3.
Tue, 13 Aug 2013 21:19:37 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) said Tuesday, Aug. 13, that he is feeling 100 percent and ready for the start of the season. "Of, definitely," Bradshaw said. "We just want to take it slow, make it last the whole season." A likely scenario is for Bradshaw to make his preseason debut Aug. 24 against the Cleveland Browns.

Tue, 23 Jul 2013 15:48:36 -0700
The Indianapolis Colts placed RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) on the Physically Unable to Perform list for training camp Tuesday, July 23.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw should be ready for the start of the regular season if he doesn't have any setbacks during camp. However, he'll play second fiddle to Vick Ballard this year and is unlikely to see enough touches to make him anything more than an RB4 or 5.
Sun, 07 Jul 2013 08:49:43 -0700
The Indianapolis Colts believe RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) will help their running game this season even though he has not fully recovered from the foot surgery he had this offseason.
Fri, 14 Jun 2013 15:12:12 -0700

Wed, 12 Jun 2013 16:56:59 -0700
Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (foot) was spotted with his right foot in a walking boot during minicamp practice Wednesday, June 12. He had surgery on the foot six months ago and continues to be brought along slowly in his recovery. He plans to be ready to go when Indy's training camp opens July 27. The Colts see him as more than an occasional contributor, but his role will be clarified the closer they get to Week 1.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw will probably be the primary shareholder with Vick Ballard in terms of touches, with Donald Brown likely bringing up the rear. It's a messy situation in which none of these options should be addressed as anything more than an RB3.
Tue, 11 Jun 2013 10:54:29 -0700
Free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw has agreed to a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Tip: Vick Ballard was expected to be the No. 1 RB heading into camp before the Bradshaw discussions, but the presence of the New York Giants' leading rusher for the last three years has obviously derailed that idea. Bradshaw is more dangerous if healthy, but there's the conundrum. He'll be an interesting flex-type play in a dangerous offense. Ballard still has mild upside and is worth fantasy consideration given how he performed as a rookie in 2012 and Bradshaw's foot problems.
Mon, 10 Jun 2013 16:27:20 -0700
The New England Patriots could get involved in trying to sign free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw (Giants). Bradshaw is still talking with the Indianapolis Colts.

Thu, 06 Jun 2013 13:09:49 -0700
The Indianapolis Colts are talking with free-agent RB Ahmad Bradshaw (Giants) about a contract.
Fantasy Tip: Bradshaw would be joining Vick Ballard, Donald Brown and Delone Carter in the team's backfield if he signs. It is not known what their roles would be, but Ballard could be a two-down back with Bradshaw being the third-down and change-of-pace back. Ballard probably would be a No. 4 running back while Bradshaw would be a No. 4 running back in point-per-reception league and a No. 5 back in standard leagues.
