Green Bay Packers LB Desmond Bishop (hamstring) should be ready for organized team activities and minicamp this offseason, according to his agent, Blake Baratz. "He's been rehabbing daily, getting the strength back in his quads and his legs," said Baratz. "I think he's 85, 90 percent. I'd have to ask him but he's getting there. He's getting there. I think he'll be fully cleared for all of the off-season stuff."

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said LB Desmond Bishop (hamstring, knee) will need surgery on the hamstring injury he suffered in the preseason game Thursday, Aug. 9, and his 2012 season is in jeopardy. McCarthy said Bishop also suffered a knee sprain during the game.
