The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed free-agent QB Jordan Palmer (Bengals) and DT Odrick Ray (Jaguars). The team also signed undrafted free-agent WR Mike X. Brown (Liberty), LB Donovan Richard (South Carolina State) and S Jeremiah Brown (Wagner). Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

The Cincinnati Bengals played just two quarterbacks -- Andy Dalton and Bruce Gradkowski -- Thursday, Aug. 25, in their third preseason game. It appears the team is considering entering the season with just two quarterbacks on roster. Backup QB Jordan Palmer appears to be the odd man out if they do keep three, as he has not played in the past two preseason games. QB Dan LeFevour would likely be the third option if the Bengals choose to retain three signal callers.

Gradkowski has experience with offensive coordinator Jay Gruden, as the two spent time together with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bengals will enter training camp with Dalton, Gradkowski, Jordan Palmer and Dan LeFevour at quarterback, which marks the first time since 2008 they've entered camp with more than three quarterbacks.
