Jim Trotter reports in the Union Tribune yesterday's signing of CFL CB Davis Sanchez could meant the Chargers can release disappointing CB DeRon Jenkins. By releasing Jenkins, the Chargers could save $1.35 million against this year's salary cap. Jenkins' future will be known by March 15, because that's when he's due to receive a $1 million roster bonus. In other news, the Chargers made yet another offer to CFL QB Dave Dickenson and were turned down. Again the signing bonus amount is the hangup in any potential signing.
