Bart Hubbuch, of the Florida Times-Union, reports the Jacksonville Jaguars brought DB Lloyd Harrison (Dolphins) in for a workout on Tuesday, Oct. 7. The team gave no indication that a deal was offered.

Chargers.com reports the team suffered several injuries during today's season finale. CB Lloyd Harrison (sprained right knee) left in the first quarter and did not return, CB Scott Turner (back) was injured in the second quarter and did not return, OT Vaughn Parker (knee) was injured in the second quarter and did not return and S Jason Perry (hamstring) left in the third quarter and did not return. The team's season is over so they all have the off-season to recover from today's injuries.

Chargers.com reports coach Mike Riley said CB Lloyd Harrison will get the starting nod at left cornerback in Sunday's game. He'll replace Tay Cody (ankle), who missed practice againt today. The team plans to leave their offensive line intact which means Vaughn Parker at left tackle and Ed Ellis at right. Former starting LT Damion McIntosh has been battling the flu bug. FB Fred McCrary (hip) returned to practice today. WR Curtis Conway, and LBs Junior Seau and Gerald Dixon all missed Thursday's practice while attending the funeral for WR Jeff Graham's father, Walter. It still appears Graham will miss Sunday's game.

The Union-Tribune's Jim Trotter reports San Diego Chargers CB Tay Cody aggravated his sprained ankle in the first quarter yesterday and he was replaced by Lloyd Harrison. After the injury, Cody was limited to nickel situations.

Chargers.com reports San Diego Charger CB Tay Cody will now miss Sunday's game in Philadelphia. "As a matter of fact, he isn't even going to get on the plane," coach Mike Riley. CB Davis Sanchez will replace Cody in the starting lineup and Lloyd Harrison will man the nickel cornerback spot. S Jason Perry (knee) missed practice today and he may not play Sunday. All other Chargers are expected to be ready to play.

The San Diego Chargers moved quickly to fill two roster spots they opened earlier today by signing C Dennis O'Sullivan, who had been waived by the New York Jets, and CB Lloyd Harrison, who was released by Washington. The team is also expected to sign FB Derrick Harris soon, but they would need to free up a roster spot to do so.

Redskins | 27-25 Winners Over Cleveland

The AP reports the Washington Redskins defeated the Cleveland Browns Friday night 27-25, led by QB Tony Banks. He led three scoring drives, completing 12 of 15 passes for 177 yards and two TDs. Redskins PK Brett Conway's 19-yard FG and DB Lloyd Harrison's 54-yard interception return off Browns QB Kelly Holcomb broke a 17 all tie. The Browns made the final score close with Holcomb's 49-yard pass to Jamel White with 1:17 to play. White ran the PAT in for two points. Banks TDs were 2-yards to FB Donnell Bennett and 4-yards to TE Walter Rasby. Browns TE Ricky Dudley had a 15-yard TD catch and WR Quincy Morgan ran 2 yards for a score for the Browns. Browns QB Tim Couch was 14-of-23 for 163 yards and scrambled for 35 yards. PK Phil Dawson made a 33-yard FG for the Browns, but he also missed from 54 and 48 yards.

The Washington Post reports the Washington Redskins started their first mini-camp of the off-season earlier today. 35 new players were on the field for practice, four veteran free agents, five draft choices and 26 undrafted rookie free agents. "Basically our approach is to take a lot of information and throw it up there, and see how much sticks to the mind," coach Marty Schottenheimer said. The players who will be under the brightest spotlight this weekend are WR Rod Gardner and CB Fred Smoot, the team's second-round draft pick. "Right now I'm in the learning process," Gardner said. The Redskins have not promised Gardner a starting job. Smoot began yesterday working with Lloyd Harrison on the second team.

ESPN's John Clayton reports Washington Redskins head coach Marty Schottenheimer is making moves with the defensive secondary that point to the team not believing CB Deion Sanders will return to them. CB Champ Bailey is working at left corner, with Lloyd Harrison as his top backup. Veteran Darrell Green is working as the starting right corner with rookie Fred Smoot penciled in as his under-study. The team has moved CB David Terrell to safety.
