Broncos | Wide open behind Top 3 receivers

Wed, 16 Jul 2014 20:31:26 -0700

Denver Broncos WRs Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker and Emmanuel Sanders will be the top three wide receivers, with WRs Andre Caldwell and Cody Latimer also in the plans. Undrafted WR Isaiah Burse has potential but will have to show some significant pop in the preseason games to earn a potential job as return man and possible sixth receiver.

Broncos | Andre Caldwell re-signing

Tue, 11 Mar 2014 12:15:26 -0700

The Denver Broncos are re-signing WR Andre Caldwell to a two-year deal worth as much as $3.45 million Tuesday, March 11, according to a source.

Fantasy Tip: The signing all but assures that Eric Decker won't be back with the Broncos. Caldwell is likely to be the No. 3 receiver behind Demaryius Thomas and Wes Welker in 2014.

Broncos | Andre Caldwell could return

Sat, 15 Feb 2014 08:33:17 -0800

The Denver Broncos may be willing to re-sign impending free-agent WR Andre Caldwell if they are comfortable with the price. The team probably does not see Caldwell as more than a No. 4 wide receiver at this point.

Broncos | Wes Welker will not play

Thu, 19 Dec 2013 15:47:45 -0800

Denver Broncos WR Wes Welker (concussion) will not play Week 16 because of a concussion.

Fantasy Tip: Andre Caldwell likely will see more playing time this week with Welker out. Owner in deeper league can consider using Caldwell as a flex option. Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker could also receive a small boost in their fantasy value and should be started in all leagues.

Broncos | Tavarres King likely to start as No. 5 WR

Tue, 27 Aug 2013 09:59:07 -0700

Denver Broncos WR Tavarres King continues to see work with the second-team offense, but he is expected to start the regular season as the team's No. 5 wide receiver behind WRs Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, Eric Decker and Andre Caldwell.

Fantasy Tip: As such, King has very little short-term fantasy appeal. However, he could emerge as a legitimate fantasy weapon as the season progresses, especially if injuries fell the others.
