The Cincinnati Reds' lineup Monday, March 5, could stick in the regular season, without the DH spot. 2B Brandon Phillips is leading off, followed by SS Paul Janish, 1B Joey Votto, 3B Scott Rolen, OF Jay Bruce, OF Ryan Ludwick, OF Drew Stubbs, C Devin Mesoraco and DH Ryan Hanigan.

Cincinnati Reds manager Dusty Baker said he's not worried about the health of 3B Scott Rolen this year. Baker is confident Rolen will be out on the field and will play as many games as his body will allow. However, Baker plans to keep Rolen fresh this spring and won't overwork him. INFs Juan Francisco, Wilson Valdez, Chris Valaika, Todd Frazier, Willie Harris and Paul Janish are all in the mix for the last bench spots, and any one of them could wind up spelling Rolen at third. INF Miguel Cairo is another option.

Cincinnati Reds general manager Walt Jocketty said the team is not ruling out working out another trade for an infielder as spring training approaches. "We're still talking to a couple of clubs," Jocketty said. "We'll know something by next week, hopefully. I don't think there's a lot of guys out there free agent wise." Cincinnati has shown interest in free-agent SS Ryan Theriot (Cardinals). SSs Zack Cozart and Paul Janish could share time at shortstop if the team doesn't add another infielder, with Cozart the front-runner to start.
