New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis raved about QB Tim Tebow's approach to football and life in general. "He's a born leader, he really is," Revis said. "Very few athletes have the gift he has. He tries to lead by example all the time. He tries to be positive, which is awesome, and that (has resulted) in his success on the field." Revis added, "Some people have it, some guys don't. It's the passion within, wanting to be a leader, wanting to win. You see it all the time, eating lunch, walking down the hallway. You see it."

New York Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum would not comment on the possibility of giving CB Darrelle Revis a contract extension this offseason. Revis has not asked for an extension at this point but likely will be looking for one. He currently has two years left on his contract.

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis said during an interview with NFL Network that head coach Rex Ryan did not know how serious the issues were in the locker room this season. "Basically, he didn't know a lot of things that were going on behind the scenes. It was just so much stuff. I'm really not going to get into it because some of the stuff is real deep, but he didn't know a lot of the things. He wanted people to say things to him. But, obviously, it didn't come out. It came out on the field," Revis said.

New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis disputed a claim made by Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall, saying Revis receives the benefit of the doubt from referees because of his stature in the game. "Just to speak on the 'Jordan Rule,' or whatever it's called, the Kobe Bryant rule, you know, both sides do things all the time," Revis said. "One thing that Brandon Marshall does on routes is pushes off, but I'm not going to use that as a throwback. It's just something I know in his game that he does."

Miami Dolphins WR Brandon Marshall said New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis gets the benefit of the doubt from many league officials because of his stature in the game. Marshall was referring specifically to a 100-yard interception return against the Dolphins back in Week 6 where Revis may have initiated contact with Marshall before the pick. "You know what? My technique could have been better but at the same time I think they gave him the 'Jordan Rule,' - you get a little close to Michael Jordan they're going to call the foul," Marshall said. "It works that way in football, some guys are scared to throw the flag and he may be getting that rule."

New York Giants WR Victor Cruz said the team will pick on New York Jets CB Darrelle Revis in Week 16. Cruz believes teams are no longer afraid of Revis. "Teams aren't really scared (of him) anymore," Cruz said. "He's got to earn his money this year. Teams aren't really backing down. I feel like we're going to do the same thing. We're going to go out. Until he physically stops us we're going to throw the ball on him."
