Baltimore Ravens DL Ryan McBean settled his lawsuit with the league and reportedly had his six-game suspension reduced to three games after he agreed to drop the lawsuit. "We are giving Ryan the opportunity to compete and make our 53-player roster," general manager Ozzie Newsome said. "We've done our research and consulted with the league office about Ryan and then signed him."

Updating a previous report, Denver Broncos LB D.J. Williams and DL Ryan McBean plan to challenge their six-game suspensions in court because they say their samples were compromised during collecting. The two were tested prior to the 2011 season and their appeals were heard during the season but were denied.

The NFL suspended Denver Broncos LB D.J. Williams, DL Ryan McBean and TE Virgil Green for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances. McBean and Williams are suspended for Denver's first six games of the 2012 season. Green is suspended for the team's first four games. Williams and McBean were found to allegedly have "non-human" urine in their system, according to a source.
