San Francisco 49ers RB Brian Westbrook had 87 receiving yards in Week 14 against the Seattle Seahawks, while WR Josh Morgan posted 82 yards and TE Vernon Davis chipped in with 70 receiving yards, reports Eric Branch, of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat. It is the first time three San Francisco teammates posted 70 or more receiving yards since Sept. 9, 2001, when WRs Terrell Owens, J.J. Stokes and Tai Streets accomplished the feat.

DetroitLions.com reports Detroit Lions head coach Steve Mariucci said the team hasn't sorted through how they'll use their wide receivers following the drafting of WR Roy Williams in the first round. He said both Williams and Charles Rogers have similar qualities and one is not better suited for the "Z" receiver position than the other. "We'll let that sort out," Mariucci said. He also noted WR Tai Streets has played both the "X" and "Z" receiver positions, plus the team can throw WRs Az-Zahir Hakim and David Kircus into the mix. "We feel that we have a pretty darn good receiver corps right now," he said.

The Detroit Free Press reports Detroit Lions head coach Steve Mariucci said the signing of WR Tai Streets to a one-year deal instead of a long-term deal made the most sense to both the Lions and Streets. He said both sides want to make sure Streets can stay healthy and by agreeing to a one-year deal he'll get the chance to prove just that. Mariucci said that Streets will be a great addition because he knows their offense already and he'll be a compliment to WR Charles Rogers on the other side of the field. Streets told Mariucci he's comfortable playing either flanker or split end for the Lions.
