Tampa Bay Buccaneers DL Amobi Okoye (knee) continues to battle a sore knee which has hampered him since offseason knee surgery. He was able to play in the first preseason game, but he was held out of the past two games due to his ongoing knee issue, which head coach Greg Schiano said is a concern. "It's not just one surgery," Schiano said. "He has a history with that knee. We knew when we decided to (sign him) that there was a chance that it was going to have to be handled."

Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Roy Miller, Gary Gibson and Amobi Okoye are candidates for the starting nose tackle position this offseason. The team has not said who will receive the most reps at the position at this point. Miller has been working with the first-team defense most often during training camp but that could change as camp goes on.
